It's been awhile...

But I'm still crafting... check out some of the things I've made at sisterssassycrafts.blogspot.com

Today I want to share a quick "recipe" for this cute little memo chalk board:

Supplies:
Cricut: Gypsy, Expression, Lovely Floral Cartridge
DCWV Chalkboard paper (cut to 12x6) in black and grey
Adhesive
Ribbon, chalk, and magnet from supply
Steps:
Using my Gypsy, I laid out my cuts on a 12x12 mat (I think I laid it out according to 6" width, and however high that ended up being)  I welded the word "Memo" together, and actually cut it out of the middle of the grey background, since you can't see that part"
Cut
Assemble according to picture

Personal Note:
I should have written the word "Menu" instead of "Memo"- my kids have been using the chalkboard to write what will be served at the next meal- this has been great practice for handwriting AND spelling!
